I found that teaching phonics with workbooks is not engaging enough. Also it is super tough to rely on drag and drop PPTs (some kids are on their tablets, some kids have a really hard time learning the 'control teacher's mouse' function, screensharing / browser function may result in lag...
My solution was to make my own EDB. I recommend using a nice chalkboard EDT for the background to enhance the aesthetics.
Blue letters --> move as singular letters (b c d f g h m n p r t)
Yellow letters --> move together (ad / appy / onkey / at / o / igloo / it)
Pink/Purple and Orange letters --> move as 2 letters pairs (ip / ib / it / ig / ap / ab / at / ag)
