Katie:
Okay, so what exactly is an EDB file?
Support:
An EDB file is a blackboard file in ClassIn. The best way to understand its unique concept is to think of it as a classic physical whiteboard where you can write or draw shapes and diagrams. In addition, you can add multiple images, text, and other useful teaching materials. With a physical whiteboard you have no other choice but to erase everything after you finish a class, but since EDB is a digital file you can save it and then share, edit, and use it for future classes.
Katie:
I see. And how can I download EDB files from GetEdb.com?
Support:
Go to EDB Library, choose an EDB file that you like, and simply click on the "Get this EDB" button. You'll be redirected to a form where you'll need to enter your name and email address. Afterward, you'll download the EDB file. You can also find more information here.
Katie:
Sounds good. Is it free?
Support:
We have a ton of completely free EDB files to choose from, in addition to some paid ones that usually cost around $1-2
Katie:
Wow. That's awesome! Who are you guys?
Support:
GetEdb was created by me (Michael Rock) and a small team of designers and ClassIn users. I'm a YouTuber and ClassIn ambassador and my mission is to engage all ClassIn users all over the world and make their user experience as smooth & enjoyable as possible. When we started designing GetEdb, our goal was to remove any obstacles, giving teachers a simple way to use various EDB files. But we realized that teachers need EDB files that are enjoyable to use and that can get students' attention. When I started using ClassIn several years ago, I had to teach almost every day, and sometimes I physically didn't have time to prepare EDB files. I scoured the internet for any kind of resource or platform where teachers share their EDB files but couldn't find anything. So that's where the idea come from! Since then, my team and I have created many different high-quality EDB files that you would be able to find at GetEdb.com. We're only just getting started! Thank you for being a part of the community.
